Mosque fire ruled accidental

Fire destroyed a mosque Monday morning. |
The fire that destroyed a Kansas City mosque has been ruled accidental, Kansas City Fire Department spokesman Joe Vitale said in an e-mail today. The fire started on the first floor of the three-story building and was said to be “electrical in nature.”
Damages to the building were estimated to be $175,000, and the building’s contents were a $25,000 loss.
