Monte Wedd, 17, killed in ‘rolling gun battle’; others killed over the weekend

A 17-year-old became Kansas City, Missouri’s 19th homicide victim Saturday night. Monte Wedd, 17, was shot to death in a “rolling gunbattle” between passengers in two vehicles at 44th and Agnes.

Wedd died at the scene. Another teen was shot in the gunfight but was listed in fair condition at a local hospital.
