Misty Kidd, new mother, shot in the back and killed in KCK

Kansas City, Kansas, police are in the initial stages of a homicide investigation after the mother of a 1-month-old child was gunned down Saturday night.

KCK police say 28-year-old Misty Kidd of Independence, Missouri, was shot and killed late Saturday. Her body was found in a home in the 3600 block of Freeman Avenue.
