Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder joins the fun, sues feds over health-care reform

Missouri’s Lieutenant Governor and a group of Random Citizens have filed a lawsuit against the federal government over health-care reforms, claiming the feds are forcing states to participate in a “federal scheme” and calling the new law unconstitutional.

Suing the feds over health care would typically be the job of a state attorney general, and AGs in several states have filed lawsuits against so-called Obamacare. But since Missouri AG Chris Koster went all Democratic a while back — and has yet to show any interest in filing suit — Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder stepped up, suing as a private citizen and in his role as back-up governor.
