Missouri House votes to ban Sharia law

What does it take to pass a meaningless bill in the Missouri House? It appears nothing more than a little fear and Google. Just ask state Rep. Paul Curtman (R-Pacific) about his bill that would prevent state courts from considering foreign (read Sharia) law. In other words, it’s a law that says Missouri courts should operate the way they already do.

A couple of months ago, while drumming up support for the bill, Curtman tipped his hand and revealed the bill for exactly what it is: cheap pandering.
