Missouri Coalition for the Environment sues the EPA over poopy waterways

Yesterday, the Missouri Coalition for the
Environment filed suit against the Environmental Protection Agency
in federal court in Kansas City. The group alleges that the EPA has failed to enforce the rules set forth in the 1972 Clean Water Act on more than 150,000 miles of streams and creeks in Missouri.
At
issue are Missouri’s
“unclassified” waterways, such as Kiefer Creek in Castlewood State Park, which was described in a Pitch feature story published in June.
