Minister accused of arranging sex with ‘minor’ on Facebook allegedly unfriends detective

Getting unfriended on Facebook sucks. So I feel for Clay County detective Jeff Harman, who lost a Facebook friend recently. Harman’s “friend” was allegedly the Rev. Robert M. Black, a super-disappointed 40-year-old who thought he was chatting with a 13-year-old girl named Ally Miller. These things never end well. KCTV Channel 5 and KMBC Channel 9 have all the gross-you’re-an-old-man details.

Allegedly using the name “Jon Still” on Facebook, Black had been engaging in what police say were explicit chats with Miller Harman dating back to May 2008. Finally, on April 2, Black allegedly arranged a rendezvous with Miller Harman at a car wash on Liberty Drive to have the sex. He also allegedly told the girl not to wear any underwear to their meeting, according to The Kansas City Star.

After detectives scooped him up, Black told them that he is a minister at New Home Baptist Church in St. Joseph. And he’s married.

Detectives allege that Black had about 135 Facebook friends in the metro, ranging in age from 13 to 16. They’re asking anyone who had contact with Black (aka Jon Still) to contact the sheriff’s office at 816-407-3700.

Black had one less Facebook friend after getting picked up at the car wash. He unfriended Miller Harman. Gross, you’re old.
