Mike Huckabee’s Lou Engle problem (video)

Back in September, with Election Day drawing near, future Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback finally gave in to pressure and distanced himself from Lou Engle, the praying-in-tongues loon behind Kansas City-based TheCall.

Engle and Brownback had been roommates for a time, and Engle had since revealed himself to be a gay-bashing kook. Especially troublesome was his support for Ugandan legislation that would have made being gay punishable by life in prison or even death — not the type of views an American politician needs to be associated with, as Mike Huckabee may eventually find out.
