Mike Babick inspires neighborly love in everyone with his Christmas display … except his neighbors

Man it seems like the holidays start earlier and earlier every year, doesn’t it? Time was when you didn’t want to murder your neighbor until early December, but the folks in Prairie Village are ready to nail Mike Babick to his plastic reindeer and it’s not even Halloween yet.

In case you’re not into Christmas, know that Babick has turned his home

at 76th and Falmouth into quite the tourist attraction. He starts

working on it in the fall, and on Thanksgiving night he flips the switch

on enough blinking lights and plastic crap to give the Plaza a run for

its money.
