Original Story (January 17):
The 15-year-old daughter of former Inman, Kansas, Police Chief Mike Akins Jr. reportedly testified that the ex-lawman sexually abused her “a lot” and sometimes while Akins wore his police uniform. The girl wasn’t alone. The Hutchinson News reported that Akins is accused of abusing her, her brother (age 14) and her two sisters (ages 10 and 11).
