Midwest Regional Tickets Shaping Up to Be a Bargain

As the NCAA Tournament continues along, it is a bit of a disappointment that the Shockers of Wichita State are no longer involved in the tourney. Wichita State went undefeated during the regular season, posting a 34-0 record while winning the Missouri Valley Conference tournament along the way. They entered the tourney with very high hopes, but after defeating Cal Poly in the first round 64-37, they lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Kentucky Wildcats 78-76.

Now, Wichita State fans in the area will have to resort to watching Kentucky try and move on in the Midwest bracket as they face rival Louisville tomorrow night from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Right before that game, Michigan will be taking on the upstart Tennessee Volunteers in what was supposed to be the most difficult bracket in the tournament, and has proven just that. Seeing how well Kentucky and Tennessee have played, it is certainly within the realm of possibility to see those two teams meet up in the Elite Eight.

For fans looking to catch some live basketball this weekend, PrimeSport has tickets for the Midwest regional of the NCAA Tournament  For the first session of the tournament, the average ticket price is $262 with a get-in price of only $74. Meanwhile, the second session on Sunday has an average ticket price of just $150 and a get-in of $32. Fans are holding out on buying tickets, waiting to see if there team will advance, but those willing to risk it now to buy tickets for the Elite Eight will find a bargain.

Though the Shockers have been ousted, there are still some great college basketball games out there to see, so make sure to dial up the television or make a road trip to Luca Oil to check out the action.
