Midwest Music Foundation and Review Publishing holding joint benefit

Two of the area’s finest champions of the arts, the Midwest Music Foundation and Review Publishing, are teaming up in a few weeks for a special evening that’ll pair exactly what you’d think: local music and local visual arts.

Called “We Are Synaesthetic,” the event will feature sixteen local-ish artists displaying work inspired by, interpretive of, or representational of music. Original works will be for sale, and all proceeds go to the two organizations. Dead Voices, Atlantic Fadeout, and the Wires will all play sets. There will be refreshments, which I think means wine and beer.

It’s happening Friday, July 16, at the Living Room (2nd floor, 1818 McGee), which is the art space that used to house the Pearl Gallery.
