Miami’s Frank Haith the next Missouri basketball coach; does Miami go after K-State’s Frank Martin?

Sunday night, Sports By Brooks reported that Miami basketball coach Frank Haith was in negotiation to become the next Missouri Tigers basketball coach. ESPN and several other sources have confirmed the story and say Haith has accepted the job after meeting with MIzzou AD Mike Alden in Houston.

ESPN is reporting that Haith will fly to Miami today to talk with his team, and then it’s off to Columbia where he could be getting a six-year deal. We should know more when the University of Missouri Board of Curators hold a “special meeting” at 7:45 p.m.
