Metro Pro Wrestling returns June 14 with matches and a documentary screening
Kansas City’s Metro Pro Wrestling went on hiatus in August. Metro Pro owner Chris Gough told The Pitch at that time that he wasn’t done promoting wrestling shows. He just didn’t know when and where his next show would take place.
After seven months, Gough finally announced his next show, scheduled for June 14 when Metro Pro will return to the Turner Rec Center (831 South 55th Street, Kansas City, Kansas) with wrestling matches and a documentary screening.
Metro Pro is promising appearances by several of the wrestling organization’s past stars as well as the premiere of Wrestless, Scott Kessler’s Metro Pro Wrestling documentary.
The show starts at 6 p.m. Ringside tickets cost $21.69; general admission tickets are $16.52. And tickets for kids 12 and under cost $8.24. They’re available on Brown Paper Tickets’ website (click here).
For now, this appears to be a one-off show – and a nice fix for longtime Metro Pro fans.
