Media turns its back on WikiLeaks

Mike Lacey, founder and top editor of Pitch owner Village Voice Media, chimes in this morning with a story about how the media has gone strangely quiet in the wake of corporate America’s assault on WikiLeaks. After Amazon, Visa and other companies moved to cut off funding to the site, Lacey writes, the media went “noticeably silent as web conglomerates reshaped the First Amendment.”
