Matthew Davis, man who abandoned girlfriend’s corpse in 2004, accused of DWI and more

Matthew Davis‘ reentry into society doesn’t appear to be going smoothly.

Davis spent five years in prison for abandoning the corpse of his 22-year-old girlfriend, but the 44-year-old man was released in February 2009 after his conviction was overturned.

Since becoming a free man, Davis has had three run-ins with Johnny Law. The latest came Saturday, when Davis allegedly led police on a drunken, carnage-filled chase in Westport, according to The
