Marlin Garrett accidentally shot by 14-year-old playing with a handgun

Three teens playing with a handgun ended with a 16-year-old boy dead Sunday afternoon.

Marlin Garrett, his twin brother and a 14-year-old suspect were playing with a handgun when Garrett was accidentally shot by the 14-year-old boy inside a home in the 8500 block of East 92nd Place around 1:30 p.m. Garrett died at the scene.
