Mario Little, KU basketball player, arrested on battery charges

UPDATE: Suspended Kansas basketball player Mario Little’s court date has been pushed from January 5 to May 19. He’s facing charges of battery, criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing for an incident with his girlfriend earlier this month, according to the Lawrence Journal-World.
Original Story: University of Kansas basketball player Mario Little was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of battery, criminal damage and criminal trespassing, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.
The 22-year-old senior guard was arrested at an apartment building at 1241 Ohio Street after police were called to a disturbance around 5:14 a.m., the Cap-Journal reported. He posted a $700 bond and was released.
