Marilyn R. Davis accused of driving getaway van in the killing of Cricket Wireless clerk Khamis A. Saed

Marilyn R. Davis was allegedly the getaway driver in several robberies last August, including one that resulted in the death of Wireless clerk Khamis A. Saed.

Jackson County prosecutors charged the 37-year-old Davis today with

second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed

criminal action.

Saed was found

shot to death in the backroom of a store at 5116 Bristol on August

15, 2009. Saed, 23, died from a gunshot wound to the

chest.

Davis initially told police that she didn’t know anything about the

robberies or the homicide. She still claims she didn’t know about them.

But three witnesses are telling a different story.
