Man stole truck to make court date, police say

The Green Summit Dispatch reported that the 18-year-old Benton L. Ross allegedly stole Dodge trucks from Lee’s Summit, Greenwood and Kansas City. But he had a good reason; he had an important place to be.

By his statements Ross would steal trucks because he didn’t have one, didn’t trust others for rides and needed to make a scheduled court date.

Definitely don’t want to miss that court date.
