The condition of the man shot by two gunmen outside of a building at 6301 Rockhill Road yesterday afternoon has been upgraded to “serious but stable,” Kansas City police spokesman Darin Snapp tells The Pitch.

Two men shot the 30-year-old as he left the building, which houses “probation and parole offices, rehabilitation services and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City,” according to a report in The Kansas City Star.

The 30-year-old lost a lot of blood but was expected to survive, police say.

“There are no suspects in custody,” Snapp says. “We definitely need tips. We’re not getting a whole lot of cooperation from the people that we were talking to yesterday who were at the scene.”
