Man in critical condition after throat slashing at the Grand Emporium

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck during a fight at the Grand Emporium Saloon at 3832 Main Street.

Conflicting stories on where the stabbing actually took place. KSHB Channel 41 reports that the man was stabbed inside the bar’s restroom. KMBC Channel 9 reports that the stabbing occurred outside of the bar.

The stabbing reportedly happened around 2:30 a.m.
