Lyric Opera holding garage sale Friday and Saturday

Want to own a piece of the Lyric Opera? Then you better get to the Lyric’s garage sale on Friday and Saturday at 11th Street and Central. The Lyric is cleaning out its closets after 41 years and selling off photos, costumes, piano vocal scores, props and more.

The garage sale runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. All of the money goes to the Lyric’s inaugural season at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, which begins in October with Turandot.
