On Thursday, March 10, at the Uptown, Grammy Award-winning artist Lyle Lovett will be co-headlining with fellow Texas singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen. The two have a long history of mutual admiration, and this show — one of just a few on this special spring tour — will feature Lovett and Keen swapping stories and songs on acoustic guitars.
The concert is meant to recall “The Front Porch Song,” which Keen wrote with Lovett in the late 1970s, while they were both students at Texas A&M. Get a feel for how the Uptown show will look in the video below.
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 4, at 10 a.m. This date has just been announced and has not been added to the Uptown website; you can find details here.
