1. Hear celebrity art critic Jerry Saltz talk about judging art for New York Magazine and Bravo’s Work of Art. He speaks today at 1 p.m. at KCAI. Five bucks says Peregrine Honig introduces him.

2. See some slam dunking. Since it seems that no pro basketball team will ever make Kansas City its permanent home, catch the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder pass through for a 7:30 p.m. exhibition game at Sprint Center (if you’re lucky enough to have tickets; the game is sold out).

3. Put on your Princess Mononoke costume. Or at least prepare to see some real anime during Motaku, an anime convention happening today through Sunday at Park Place Hotel.
