Living in a shipping container in Brookside

First, Apartment Therapy showed us Mission, Kansas’ extremely cool dome (who knew there was a video production company in there?). Now, they have photos of a soon-to-be-finished cargo container home in Brookside. Apartment Therapy tells us the shipping-container-turned-house is Debbie Glassberg’s eco-friendly idea — “geothermal heat, soy foam insulation and bamboo flooring.” She’s getting help from BNIM Architects. When the place is finished — should be done by the end of May — it’ll be a about 2,000-square feet with two bedrooms and a big home office.
