Liquor board votes to revoke license of Club Xpressions

  • Xpressions is open — for now.

After listening to nine hours of testimony on Thursday, the Liquor Control Board of Review voted to revoke the license of Club Xpressions at 220 Admiral Boulevard. The license changed hands late last year, but new management was not sufficient for city officials, who fined and suspended the previous operator of a nightclub at the same location.

The revocation is not yet official, so the club can continue to operate. Gregory Vleisides, an attorney for the club’s current owners, Eric and Natasha Union, said after the hearing that he would ask the Circuit Court for a restraining order and a review the liquor board’s decision.
