LeBron James won’t be coming back to Kansas City, signs with Cleveland Cavaliers

Bad news for Kansas City NBA fans — and ticket scalpers. LeBron James is going back to Cleveland to play for the Cavaliers. The news broke today on Sports Illustrated’s website

So after years of playing preseason NBA games in Kansas City with Miami, James won’t be here when the Heat plays the Golden State Warriors at Sprint Center on Friday, October 17.

That also means Chris Bosh may not be coming to town with the Houston Rockets, offering the power forward a max contract to bolt South Beach.

But we still get Dwyane Wade. And the Warriors will bring one of the best backcourts in the league in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson (if Thompson isn’t traded).

So there’s a lot up in the air for the game.

Tickets cost from $16 to $141. Purchase them here.
