Leawood woman claims man driving truck full of dogs tried to abduct her

Speaking of kidnappings, KMBC Channel 9 reports that a Leawood woman claimed that she was jogging near Roe Avenue and Tomahawk Creek Parkway around 10 p.m. when a man in a baby blue pickup attempted to pull her into his vehicle.

The woman in her twenties gave police an odd detail: The man had four dogs in the

bed of his 1990s truck. Here’s the description of her alleged abductor: a black man in his thirties with a thin build, short hair and light facial hair. 

The woman escaped and called police.
