Lawmakers already looking for ways to weaken puppy mill law … just days after voters passed it

Just days after voters approved the so-called “Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act,” Missouri lawmakers are looking for ways to weaken the law — and show those who voted for Prop B that their votes don’t matter.

Lawmakers are already bowing to the will of breeders and agriculture groups — the ones on the wrong-end of the election — arguing that the way pets are treated is different than the way breeders treat dogs.
