Lavon Gilyard charged in the death of Anthony Adgers

Lavon Gilyard is facing a second-degree murder charge in the March 31 death of his 17-year-old robbery accomplice, Anthony Adgers.
Gilyard, Adgers and another man allegedly went to Tony Lyles‘ home at 57th and Bales on a marijuana deal (5 pounds of weed for $5,000). But when the buyer arrived, the three allegedly robbed him of $500.
Lyles, Adgers and the victim of the robbery left the house to go to the robbery victim’s car. Court records say a passenger in the vehicle shot Adgers.
