Latoya Hopkins’ relatives believe she is the ‘suspicious death’ in Raytown

The relatives of 33-year-old Latoya Hopkins believe she was the woman found dead in a home at 6709 Elm in Raytown this morning.

Raytown police found the body of a woman in the home while conducting a welfare check around 6:54 a.m. Hopkins’ relatives hadn’t heard from her and became concerned so they contacted police.

Raytown authorities say the victim identification isn’t official. Their investigation of the “suspicious death” is just beginning.
