Lakeesha Brown gets 18 years for suffocating her 7-year-old son Esmond Ross

Lakeesha Brown was sentenced today to 18 years for suffocating her 7-year-old son Esmond Ross while reportedly high on PCP last February.

Brown, 29, told detectives in February 2009 that she didn’t know why she had suffocated her son but admitted laying with her legs across his head and sitting on his chest.

originally told police that the boy suffocated when she rolled on top

of him while sleeping.
