Kyle Decuer identified as man found dead in an alley between Topping and Lawndale on Tuesday
Kansas City, Missouri, police have identified Kyle Louis Decuer as the victim of Tuesday morning’s homicide.
The body of the 22-year-old man was discovered in an alley between Topping and Lawndale around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Kansas City, Missouri’s homicide total was 96 as of Tuesday. That’s one behind this time last year.
The KCPD’s “daily homicide analysis” also says 50 homicides have been “cleared” this year. Guns were overwhelmingly used in the crimes; the sheet says 82 of the 96 homicides involved guns. And the majority of homicides occurred in East Patrol (37) and Metro Patrol (29).
