K-State wins double overtime thriller over Xavier

Beware Jacob Pullen and his lucky neck growth.
The neckbearded Kansas State guard hit a couple of key three-pointers in double overtime to kill off Xavier and send the Wildcats to the Elite Eight.
Pullen finished with 28 points (six three-pointers), four rebounds, three assists and a steal. Back-court mate Denis Clemente added 25 points and Curtis Kelley chipped in 21 points, eight boards and five blocks.
The game was filled with Gus-gasms
as easily excitable CBS announcer Gus Johnson erupted with each
game-knotting bucket. Can’t blame Johnson; the game was just that damn
good.
