K-State flash mob rave: Lots of jumping, no choreography and old techno music (updated)

The flash mob fad hit Kansas State Wednesday with more than 2,500 students packing into Hale Library (maybe the most in the library at once all year) for a rave. So don’t expect a choreographed dance to a Glee-ified cover of “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Updated: Thanks to Joel in the comments for sending the link to this higher quality video.

Was that Green Man? And a banana? And a dragon? I don’t remember fight chants at any raves in the ’90s. But there were a lot of dopey “club kids” on X with glow sticks, which are seriously lacking in this video. Looks like fun break from studying for finals, but who’s going to clean the carpet once this is over?
