Koktopus, I Love You, Grace Potter, Dar Williams: Thursday’s Best Bets

Koktopus has the best band name in the city. Best one I’ve heard, at least. They’re at Riot Room with a ton of other metal bands. 

I Love You is at the Brick. Never seen ’em live. Lots of people think they’re really cool, though, so I guess I will recommend them. They sound like a band that you would hear on that new Pitchfork blog collective. 

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, with Dar Williams and like three other women at Crossroads at Grinders, for a show that I am betting will sound a lot like 90.9 the Bridge. And you know I’ve got to dedicate this one to all the ladies in the house. All the ladies in the house say YEAH!
