Koch Industries takes time out from evil, donates $1 million to Japan disaster relief effort

OK, the Koch brothers aren’t completely evil. Yesterday, Koch Industries announced that it would be donating $1 million to disaster relief in Japan, dividing the money between the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, according to the Wichita Eagle.

The $500,000 in Koch bucks is a huge donation, given that the Salvation Army’s national donations for Japan totaled $4 million as of Tuesday.
