​Update (10:57 a.m. July 7): Police identified the victims as Michael B.K. Butler, 32, and Akeem Y. Wilson, 15, both of Kansas City, Missouri.

Original story (7:40 a.m. July 7): Responding to a call that shots were fired, police found two men with bullet wounds near East 10th Street and Lydia Avenue early Sunday morning.

A man in mid-20s was dead at the scene. A 15-year-old male who was taken to a hospital died from his injuries.
