Killa City: Woman’s death suspicious in 1200 block of Askew, police say

Kansas City police are investigating the death of a woman in the 1200 block of Askew.
Police were called to the residence around 7:11 a.m. Thursday morning after receiving a call of a possible dead body.
Officers met two children — ages 12 and 9 — who found their mother unresponsive inside the home. The 49-year-old woman was dead.
Police say the woman’s death is suspicious, citing signs of foul play.
