Killa City: Teen pleads guilty in homeless man’s death

Isaiah Betts, a 17-year-old from KCK, has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of a homeless man on April 1, according to KHSB Channel 41.
Betts and 47-year-old Dwayne E. Smith of Kansas City got into an argument on a bus.
Smith tried to walk away, KHSB reports, but Betts knocked him out and he fell into the street at E. 10th and Grand.
A motorist then struck him, and Smith died at a hospital. Betts fled the scene.
Police charged Betts on May 28. He is expected to be sentenced on December 18.
