Killa City: Police release name of male victim in Raytown murders

We’re on Day 2 of the Metro Squad’s investigation of four homicides in a Raytown apartment. Detective Robert Delameter told reporters this morning that there are “no suspects” right now, but he released the name of the adult male victim. The man’s name was Andre D. Jones. He was 33 years old and from Kansas City, Missouri. Jones was the boyfriend of 21-year-old Precious Triplett, whose body was also found inside the apartment, Delameter said.

Delameter described the investigation as “very urgent” (the Metro Squad gets three days to work a case before it must ask for an extension) and said they were chasing many leads — 33 yesterday — and worked into the early hours of today.

Police won’t release the names of the children killed in the apartment, Delameter said, although the names of 10-year-old Amir Clemons and 7-year-old

Gerard Clemons have already appeared in The Kansas City Star.

After the jump, more video from this morning’s press conference.
