Killa City: Odell Nelson charged with killing his brother, Dominique Nelson

Jackson County prosecutors charged 27-year-old Odell Nelson with second-degree murder Monday in the death of Nelson’s younger brother, Dominique Nelson. Witnesses and family members told police that Odell and Dominique Nelson were in an argument at a home at 5915 Indiana when Odell Nelson pulled out a gun and shot Dominique Nelson “multiple” times.

Odell Nelson allegedly didn’t stop shooting once his brother was on the ground. Court records say Odell Nelson “stood over him and continued to shoot down into the victim.”

Odell Nelson was also charged with armed criminal action.
