Killa City: KCMO homicides No. 61 and 62, Richard Sanders and Kevin Todd

Kansas City police identified this morning’s homicide victims found at 11th and Garfield as 19-year-old Richard Sanders and 20-year-old Kevin E. Todd of Kansas City, Missouri.

Just after midnight, Kansas City police were called to 10th and Garfield on a complaint of loud music coming from a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 10th and Garfield. Police found the bodies of Todd and Sanders in a gray, late 1980s or early 1990s, Ford Crown

A report on KSHB Channel 41 says a 20-year-old man named Kevin Todd was charged with unlawful use of a weapon in January. Court records say Todd pleaded guilty in June and received a suspended sentence with probation.
