Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 64, Lynn Glover killed by stray bullet
It’s getting scary out there. A second woman was killed by a stray bullet this weekend — and a man was seriously injured.
Kansas City police were called to a shooting at 34th and Troost Sunday morning at 1:21 a.m.
They found the a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police say two vehicles were engaged in a rolling gun battle southbound on Troost. Police believe the man and woman were hit by stray bullets in the crossfire.

Update (12:41 p.m., Monday, July 20): Kansas City police say the victim is 38-year-old Lynn Glover of Kansas City, Missouri.
Update (5:48 p.m., Monday, July 20): The Star reports that a 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with Glover’s death. The report says police recovered a gun, and they claim that the boy was firing the gun at another vehicle when Glover was shot.
