Kansas City police have identified the man found dead in a van at 40th and Norton on July 6. The victim is 50-year-old James L. Rogers, according to a report on The Kansas City Star‘s site.
No word yet on how the Rogers died.
A foul odor coming from the van led to the discovery of a decomposing body. Neighbors reportedly said the van had been parked in the grass near the intersection for several days.
