Killa City: JoCo mom accused of killing her newborn makes court appearance
Alice Zeorlin — the Johnson County mother accused of suffocating her newborn baby girl — appeared in court Thursday.
Earlier this week, Johnson County prosecutors charged Zeorlin, 25, with first-degree murder for the asphyxiation death of her newborn at Zeorlin’s Overland Park home.
Zoerlin is accused of giving birth in her parents basement on May 31st and wrapping the baby in a bag. Her parents found the child’s body the next day.
Zeorlin’s MySpace page is set to private but a profile picture of her is still visible. She last logged in on June 14. Her mood is “impervious” and her status says “Alice!!! enjoying the life.”
