Killa City: Calvin A. Boswell charged with killing Ashley D. Thomas and her unborn baby

The boyfriend of a pregnant woman who was shot and killed last week has identified the alleged shooter.

The boyfriend, who was also shot and is in a hospital, picked out Calvin A. Boswell from a photo, and told police that Bowell, who is also known as “Cowboy,” is the man who allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend, Ashley D. Thomas, and her unborn baby.

Kansas City police say Boswell is not in custody. However, Jackson County prosecutors charged Boswell with two counts of

second-degree murder, four counts of armed criminal action and two

counts of first-degree assault.

Similar charged were filed yesterday against Lionel R. Henderson, who a fourth victim said was the “look out” in the shooting.
