Kevin Engler, Mo. Republican, thinks some Mo. Republicans are really friggin’ annoying

A Missouri state senator is walking an entertaining line between being a sore loser and a righteous avenger. Kevin Engler, a Republican from Farmington, a city south of St. Louis, thought he was in line to become president pro tem of the Senate.
But another senator, Rob Mayer, thought he might like the job, too. The 26 Republicans in the Senate split their votes when it came time to decide which man would lead them. Engler and Mayer then flipped for it, and luck was on Mayer’s side.
