Kendrick Anderson charged in homicide that originated from dispute at Xpressions nightclub

Kendrick Anderson apparently didn’t like other guys talking

to his girlfriend. He allegedly didn’t like it so much that he’s charged with second-degree murder in the homicide of 19-year-old Steven

Lee Anthony Jackson, according to The Kansas City Star.

On March 20, Jackson was shot and killed at Eighth Street and Charlotte.

He and a friend had just left Xpressions, formerly known as Club NRG,

at 220 Admiral

Boulevard. Prosecutors reportedly believe someone in Anderson’s car fired shots into Jackson’s car, killing him and critically wounding another person. Two people with Anderson are still at large.
